JACKSONVILLE — A former maintenance technician has filed suit against a business alleging retaliation after he pointed out that the business was illegally dumping waste.

Ray Graham filed a complaint Sept. 14 in Florida 4th Judicial Circuit Court, Duval County, against Broadspectrum Infrastructure Inc., alleging that the employer retaliated against the plaintiff for complaining about the defendant's supposed illegal dumping of waste.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was terminated from his employment as retaliation. The plaintiff holds Broadspectrum Infrastructure Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly refused to accommodate the plaintiff's medical condition and ultimately terminated his employment as retaliation.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks award back pay, interest, damages, compensation and benefits, compensatory and consequential damages, all medical benefits, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Chad E. Levy of Law Offices of Levy & Levy P.A. in Ft. Lauderdale.
