Government alleges Broward County resident still owes on student loans

MIAMI – The federal government alleges a Broward County man still owes on student loans that were issued in 1988.

United States of America filed a complaint on Sept. 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Theodore M. Belloise alleging that the individual failed to settle his debt with plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Belloise failed to pay the principal amount of his debt with plaintiff plus interest.

The plaintiff seeks principal amount of $2,805.66 plus interest of $5,148.47, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Steven M. Davis of Becker & Poliakoff PA in Coral Gables.
