Carib Petroleum Inc. alleges Arizona company owes it $600,000

Late 06

MIAMI – A Coral Gables company alleges an Arizona company has not paid it per the terms of a settlement agreement.

Carib Petroleum Inc. filed a complaint on Aug. 30 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Miami Division against Rubicon Energy LLC, James Crane and David Freeman alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between 2015 and 2016, it suffered damages from an unpaid settlement agreement. The plaintiff holds Rubicon Energy LLC, Crane and Freeman responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to make any installment of payment regarding the settlement agreement they have with plaintiff.

The plaintiff seeks the sum of $600,000 plus interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Claudia Casalis and Robert J. Alwine of Robert Allen Law in Miami.
