Integra Property Services allegedly failed to pay overtime wages

Law money 03

MIAMI — A group of individuals have filed a class-action lawsuit against a former employer for alleged unpaid overtime wages.

Juan C. Garcia filed a complaint on behalf of himself and other similarly-situated individuals on Aug. 25 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Miami Division, against Integra Property Services LLC and Richard G. Fitch, alleging that they failed to comply with the mandates of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that from April 19  to Aug. 11, plaintiff Garcia was employed by the defendants and worked for an average of 69-75 hours per week.

The plaintiffs hold Integra Property Services LLC and Richard G. Fitch responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to inform the employees of their federal rights to overtime and minimum wage payments, failed to maintain time accurate records of hours worked by employees and failed to pay overtime wages.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment in their favor, actual and liquidated damages, attorneys' fees, cost of suit and further relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Zandro E. Palma of Zandro E. Palma PA in Miami.
