Mulligans Beach House Bar & Grill allegedly failed to pay workers overtime wages

Law money 10

MIAMI — Former employees claim that a bar and grill allegedly failed to pay them overtime wages.

Joel Devalon and Jimmy Louis filed a complaint on Aug. 26 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Mulligans Lake Worth Acquisition LLC, Mulligans Acquisition Inc., both doing business as Mulligans Beach House Bar & Grill, alleging that they failed to fairly compensate the plaintiffs for all of their hours worked.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that Joel Devalon and Jimmy Louis worked for more than 40 hours but were not paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiffs hold Mulligans Lake Worth Acquisition LLC and Mulligans Acquisition Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay any overtime premium to the plaintiffs for hours worked that exceeds 40 per week.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek general and compensatory damages, liquidated damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Chelsea Bellew and Cathleen Scott of Scott Wagner & Associates P.A. in Jupiter.
