Premier Floral Corporation allegedly failed to pay employee overtime wages

MIAMI — An employee has filed suit against a floral company for unpaid overtime. 

William Haedo filed a complaint on Aug. 13 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Premier Floral Corporation and Oscar Garcia, alleging that they failed to fairly compensate the plaintiff for all hours worked. 

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours without being paid any overtime wages. The plaintiff holds Premier Floral Corporation and, Oscar Garcia responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff any overtime premium for hours worked that exceeds 40 hours.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury, liquidated damages, plus all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems appropriate. He is represented by Elliot Kozolchyk of Koz Law P.A. in Fort Lauderdale.
