MIAMI – A Miami-Dade County employer is seeking declaratory judgment from the court over a dispute with a former employee who resides in Texas.

Terraboost Media LLC filed a complaint on July 31 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Miami Division against Larry Enzer seeking declaratory judgment.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges it employed the defendant for a four-month employment agreement beginning in March. The plaintiff claims that Enzer made a number of false accusations and threats toward the plaintiff, claiming the plaintiff was operating in breach of their agreement and that it owed Enzer more than $75,000. The suit also states that there is a dispute of the ownership of intellectual property created by the defendant for the plaintiff during his employment.

The plaintiff seeks declaratory relief that all property created by the defendant is property of the plaintiff and that the plaintiff fully complied with the employment agreement, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Matthew Sarelson of Kaplan Young & Moll Parron in Miami.
