FORT MYERS – A Lee County man claims that a bank has harassed him in an attempt to collect an alleged debt.

Michael Seaver filed a complaint on July 27 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida against Citibank, National Association alleging violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between December 2015 and June, he was contacted several times on his cellular phone by the defendant in an attempt to collect an alleged debt.
