S&B Auto Transport facing suit from former dispatcher for allegedly unpaid wages

Law money 03

MIAMI – A Broward County man who worked as a dispatcher has filed a suit against his former employer alleging he was not paid overtime wages.

Aaron DeMore filed a complaint on July 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Klone Enterprises, doing business as S&B Auto Transport, and John Ganci and Dana Ganci alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between July 2012 and June 2015, he worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid any overtime wages. The plaintiff holds Klone Enterprises, John Ganci and Dana Ganci responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay plaintiff any overtime compensation at a rate of time-and-one-half for all hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks payment of all overtime hours, liquidated damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Kimberly A. Gilmour in Davie.
