Law money 01

ORLANDO – A Seminole County woman alleges she is owed payment for 170 hours of unpaid overtime.

Denise Williams filed a complaint on July 5 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Orlando Division against Orlando Family Physicians LLC, Premier Health Network LLC and Jorge L. Garcia alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between Feb. 10 and June 21, she worked for more than 40 hours per week for the defendants without being paid any overtime wages. The plaintiff holds Orlando Family Physicians LLC, Premier Health Network LLC and Garcia responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay plaintiff any overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 per week.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages, lost wages, liquidated damages, economic and noneconomic compensatory damages, interest all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Don McManus of Law Offices of Don McManus PL in Orlando.
