Oneida J. Ruz filed a complaint on behalf of other similarly situated individuals on June 27 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Miami Division against Mexzican Taqueria LLC, The Mexzican Gourmet LLC, Ze Carlos Jimenez and Claudia A. Varela alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between Nov. 20, 2015, and April 2, she worked for more than 40 hours but was not paid any overtime wages.
