Law money 05

JACKSONVILLE – A supervisor has filed suit against her former Jacksonville employer alleging she was not paid overtime.

Jamie Turner filed a complaint on May 26 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Jacksonville Division against Interline Brands Inc. alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between August 2013 and April, she worked for more than 40 hours at given work week but was not paid any overtime wages. The plaintiff holds Interline Brands Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay overtime compensation to plaintiff.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid wages, liquidated damages, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. She is represented by Mitchell L. Feldman of Feldman Law Group PA in Tampa.
