ORLANDO – Five men have filed a class-action lawsuit alleging that they were not properly compensated for their hours worked.

Andrew Zeitouni, James Martin, Djems Antoine, Marco Paz and Jonathan Menedez filed a complaint on April 7 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida against Premier Tampa Air LLC alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they were employed as drivers or dispatchers for the defendant and not properly compensated for all hours they worked in excess of 40 per week. The plaintiffs holds Premier Tampa Air LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly willfully failed to pay overtime premiums or the applicable minimum wage for all hours worked.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek compensation for unpaid wages, liquidated damages, prejudgment interest, attorney's fees and costs and for such further relief that the court may deem just and equitable. They are represented by Brandon J. Hill of Wenzel Fenton Cabassa PA in Tampa.
