Horse breeder sues buyer over alleged contract breach

PALM BEACH — An Oklahoma horse breeder is suing a buyer who lives in West Palm Beach, alleging breach of contract. 

Silver Creek Farms LLC, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, sued Florida resident Maggie Fullington on March 9 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida Palm Beach Division , citing alleged breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

Silver Creek alleges that Fullington has not paid the agreed-upon $100,000 fee for the horse and refused to return the animal.

The plaintiff seeks the following: compensation for damages, including but not limited to the payment of $100,000 purchase price, pre-judgement interest and any further relief that the court may find just and proper. He is represented by Avery S. Chapman of Chapman Law Group, PLC in Wellington in Florida.
