JACKSONVILLE — A woman is suing an insurance company, claiming she has been improperly denied long-term disability benefits.

Melissa Baart sued Unum Life Insurance Company of America on March 2 in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida Jacksonville Division, alleging that she is disabled and that the insurance company violated the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.
