FORT LAUDERDALE – A former senior sales consultant is suing a medical technology firm based in San Diego over claims of unpaid wages.
Steven Jacobus filed a complaint on March 1 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Fort Lauderdale Division against Carefusion Solutions LLC and Carefusion Corp., citing breach of contract and unpaid wages.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered monetary damages. The plaintiff holds Carefusion Solutions LLC and Carefusion Corp. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay him properly for work performed, failed to compensate him for all commissions earned and failed to pay him at the rate specified in the written agreement.
The plaintiff seeks the following: compensation for special damages, including but not limited to lost wages, consequential damages, prejudgment interest and any further relief that may be equitable under the circumstances.
