Fireenginelights

MIAMI – Former employees of a fire safety equipment provider are suing their former employer for wages they allege they were never paid.

Craig Robinson, Jason Murcia and Mark Latham filed a complaint on Feb. 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against AAA Industrial Supply, doing business as AAA Fire Protection Systems, and Sandra McCallum, citing violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they did not receive overtime pay and commissions. The plaintiffs hold AAA Fire Protection Systems and Sandra McCallum responsible because the defendants allegedly refused to pay overtime compensation and withheld wages owed.

The plaintiffs seek the following: compensation for liquidated damages, attorney's fees, costs and expenses and any other relief that the court may deem just and proper. They are represented by Chad Levy of Law Offices of Levy & Levy, P.A. in Fort Lauderdale.
