Law money 07

ORLANDO – A former employee is suing a company that conducts business in Orange County alleging that he wasn't paid overtime wages.

Tyler Brazeal filed a complaint on Feb. 18 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Orlando Division against Metro Towing LLC and Rodney Ramdhan, citing violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between August 2015 and September 2015, he did not receive proper overtime pay and complete minimum wages. The plaintiff holds Metro Towing LLC and Ramdhan responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay time-and-one-half compensation for all hours worked over 40 per work week.

The plaintiff seeks the following: compensation for liquidated damages, attorneys' fees and costs and any declaratory relief that the court may determine just and appropriate. He is represented by Matthew R. Gunter of Morgan & Morgan PA in Orlando.
