PENSACOLA – A bus driver alleges that her employer did not pay her for all hours worked.

Angela Jeffrey filed a complaint Feb. 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, Pensacola Division against BTR Inc., doing business as The Rader Group, alleging that the school management firm knowingly violated the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was employed by the defendant from 2013 to 2015 and that she did not receive the minimum wage and proper overtime compensation for all hours worked. The plaintiff holds The Rader Group responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay proper compensation as required by law.

The plaintiff seeks the following: compensatory damages, attorney's fees and costs for this action and any other relief that the court may deem equitable and just. She is represented by Jeremiah J. Talbott and Tyler L. Gray of the Law Office of Jeremiah J. Talbott PA in Pensacola.
