In the Circuit Court of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, plaintiff Crystal Brown has filed a lawsuit against Progressive Select Insurance Company. The case, bearing the ID 502024CA002877XXXAMB Div: AA, was officially filed on March 27, 2024.

The lawsuit revolves around an accident that occurred on August 31, 2023. Brown alleges that she was rear-ended by Franke Stallings while driving northbound on Interstate 95 near Southern Boulevard in West Palm Beach, Florida. The damages from this incident exceed $50,000 but are less than $75,000.

Brown's complaint is that Stallings did not carry bodily injury insurance and was underinsured at the time of the accident. Despite having a policy with Progressive Select Insurance Company that included coverage for damages incurred by uninsured/underinsured motorists, Brown claims that the company has failed or refused to properly compensate her for her claim for damages.

In seeking judgment, Brown demands compensation for damages from Progressive Select Insurance Company and requests a trial by jury. She is represented by Kerri C. Smith from Law Office of Kerri C. Smith, P.A.
