Kathleen Whitman has filed a lawsuit against Edwin Carillo, Diana Tobar, Maureen Wills, Dennis Wills, and State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company in the Circuit Court of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida. The case number is 502024CA002928XXXAMB Div: AO and was filed on March 28, 2024.
The plaintiff alleges that on October 13, 2023, while driving southbound on Interstate 95 near Palmetto Park Rd., she was involved in a car accident caused by the negligence of defendants Edwin Carillo and Maureen Wills. The plaintiff claims that as a result of this accident, she suffered bodily injury including permanent injury to the body as a whole, pain and suffering of both physical and mental nature, disability, physical impairment, disfigurement, mental anguish among other damages.
Whitman is seeking damages exceeding fifty thousand dollars ($50,000), exclusive of costs, interest and attorneys’ fees. She has also demanded a jury trial on all issues so triable.
