The plaintiffs allege that ABC Legal Services negligently employed a process server with an extensive criminal record who falsely claimed to have served them legal documents. The event in question occurred on April 11, 2022. Troy Morton Rogers, the process server in question, was subsequently terminated by ABC Legal Services following the plaintiff's contestation of his service.
Hoffman and Aiken are seeking damages for the extreme fear, anxiety, mental anguish, stress, depression they've experienced as a result of this negligence. They also claim physical symptoms such as insomnia, poor concentration, memory issues, headaches and weight loss.
